Christmas is obviously going to be very different this year, due to the cost of living crisis. Some families are struggling financially and are worrying about cost.
The cost of living is a phrase we use to explain everyday prices in supermarkets. It affects all families and children across the UK and around the globe.
The Rising Cost of Living in the UK a research briefing on the UK Parliament website explain: “Consumer price inflation has been rising in many countries since 2021 and pandemic related supply shortages are remaining a factor. As the global economy recovers from its recession there has been increased demands for products – consumer goods – and materials.”
